This set of six glasses are mass produced but are a beautiful example of the design shapes of the 1970s. A good quality utilitarian glass for everyday use.
In their time these were part of gifts available at petrol stations. For every gallon of petrol bought stamps were issued. Green Shield was the big brand in this period, and those of you old enough, you’ll probably remember the fight with brothers and sisters over who got to lick the stamps and place them in the book.
